Our officers teamed up with @spikeawareuk and @bevgardien ahead of Valentine’s Day to raise awareness around drink spiking.

We visited a range of venues across Birmingham and Wolverhampton city centres to speak with staff and customers about the realities of spiking.

We spoke to venue managers about the procedures they have in place to protect customers and handed out anti-spiking lids. We also provided reassurance to those on their nights out, by talking about how police and partners work together to make nights out safer for everyone.
